Fluorinated gases (F–gases) are man-made gases that can stay in the atmosphere for centuries and contribute to a global greenhouse effect. There are four types: hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), per-fluorocarbons (PFCs), sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) and nitrogen trifluoride (NF3).
As of the 1st January 2015 (EU 517/20-14) the new revised F-gas regulation came into force.
This impacts anyone who…
If your refrigeration system or air conditioning system contains less than 3kg & more than 5 tonnes CO2 equivalent of HFC refrigerant then it comes under the new F-Gas regulations.
HFC Phase Down
The EU is phasing down the use of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) refrigerants in refrigeration systems & air conditioning from 2015.
Find out how the phase down will affect your business & your company now before it too late.
